My brother and I recently got matching flashlights. So what better way to tell them apart than personalize them? I got out our embroidery floss and our engraver thingy and went to work. What do you think?

The crackled look that you asked about is a layer I added to the photograph in Photoshop. The layer is a scan of an old cooking book. The cooking book was a gift from Momma, she found it at an old book store. The neat part about the book (it was from a cooking school), is that there is a nice dark set of circles on the back - the owner must have accidentally laid it down on the hot burner. :)
