Rag Curls!

I was actually very surprised how well these turned out. It was quite easy for me, all I did was sit there and watch Fireproof. :) My grandma put the rags in. I used Penny Raine's e-bookCreatively Simple Rag Curls. You can see her entire selection of books at her bookstore,HERE. What do you think?
(I truly am dreadfully sorry for the closet and quality of pictures, but with the exception of the one below, they are all self portraits, and taken at 11:00 PM!)

  1. That's really neat! They look pretty. I'd like to try that, but I think my hair might be too thick, and that could pull the curls out in only a couple hours :(

  2. How cute!! :) Did you cut your hair, or has it always been that length? For some reason I thought I saw photos of it longer.
Anyway...thanks for posting the link to the e-book! I'm going to have to try it. =)

  3. Love it! :) I wish my hair would do that with rags, but it usually just *flops* even if I wear them all night! lol Yours looks lovely though!

  4. Thanks guys! I was able to wear them all night, I think it helped. :-)

    Annie,
No, I actually got it cut very recently. I got 10 inches or so cut off.

  5. Oh we do those! They're really fun! We use old torn up kitchen rags.

  6. Thanks for your reply to my comment. I have one more question...Did you do Locks of Love? I had 10 inches cut off for Locks of Love about 2 1/2 years ago, and it's finally almost back to where it was before I cut it. Your hair looks very cute. :)

  7. Annie,
    Thanks!
I did donate to Locks of Love. I have heard some bad things about it, but I decided that instead of just throwing it out, I might as well donate it somewhere, and hopefully someone will benefit from a wig, and not just money. :)
