1. Kara - A Yellow Warbler
Everybody head on over and say HI to Kara! You'll not believe this, but when I was 3, no, 4 I met Kara in Minot, North Dakota. (Big beautiful hill-ful *?* place in the middle of nowhere). A year later we moved. We saw each other again, oh, maybe once in the following 11 years. Then one day I come upon this blog. I don't know how, because, as far as I know, only two people read it, and I don't know the other one! We still love a lot of the same things (though she is better at them:-) and it has been great to reconnect. Yes, we do have facebooks, and yes, we are friends. But lets be real. Facebook isn't real, blogs are. Do I hear an amen? Just kidding. So glad I found you Kara, and I'm looking forward to reading your blog in the future!

Boy, was that a linking marathon or what?! Now I have to go tell you all that I did it. Tomorrow.
I love foreign languages, am bad at writing, and love math too! haha. I think I'm better at math than writing because math is more like a puzzle, all the answers are there, you just have to put them in the right place.
ReplyDeleteAh, thanks Joanna! You're so sweet! Were you really only in Minot for a year? And no, I'm definitely not better at the things we like than you are! Thanks for the award. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd amen about the blogs vs. facebook. ;)
Hey Joanna! Thank you so much for the award... like you, I'm honored to receive this! :D I just wanted to let you know I really appreciate it. :)
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Julia
Thanks so much, Joanna!! That was really sweet of you!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, and "Do I hear an Amen to that?"
ReplyDeleteA-MEN!
Lol. :D Blogging is awesome, and facebook is ... well, to put it plainly... 'a waste of time'. :D
Julia
Thanks so very, very much Joanna!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Cassie
I commented on one of your WIFD posts, you had mentioned it was a "lounge around the house and watch David Copperfield kind of day" :)
ReplyDeleteYes! Jo-Snazzer, you ARE a great writer also. It just so happens that you got an award in Spanish, Math and Sign Language instead... Kara B. from Minot.
ReplyDeleteWow, the way you dress I really thought you were a Modern Orthodox Jew. So surprising to see Christian girls dress like that. You pull it off amazingly though...
