Spring?

Precisely one week ago it was gorgeous.  Almost 60 degrees and breezy.  We had quite a bit of snow before the thaw so, naturally, it started to melt.  I'm posting some pictures so you can see exactly how much melted.  We get a "river" every year, but this one was enormous.  We live in a sort of land bowl.  All the melting snow and/or rain that is in the surrounding fields runs down here.  I don't know how many thousand gallons of water ran through the back of our yard, but it was quite a lot.  I was hoping the nice weather would hold out, but alas, we again have three inches of snow upon the ground.  I guess snow is pretty too. :)  Like Remy said in Ratatouille, "The only predictable about life is its unpredictability".  Even if it were eighty degrees outside though, I could not enjoy it.  I have had the warts on the bottom of my feet treated again, and if you recall my post a few months back about it, you'll know its not fun.  Oh! I almost forgot,
Happy Valentines Day!
Oops, wrong font. :)
Happy Valentine's Day!
Kinda looks like rapids...

These pictures really don't say it all, you should have heard it.

"When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him."
Psalms 8:3-4

Current Mood: Jubilant, and definitely not lonely. :)

  2. How fun! I wish we had river like that running through our property1 Well, we have a rivine. I think I spelles that right. Ant ways, it's a lot of fun to go play in the what we call "quick sand" after it rains. You really do sink in the sand.

Sorry about the warts! I had them too, not on my feet but on my fingers, neck, and arms! I finally got rid of em all. My mama had me take Collodial Silver. You should try to take it and see if it works.

I can understand the whole weather thing. Friday it was beautiful weather outside. So, on Saturday morning I got up put a pair of capris on with a short sleeve shirt and then went out to take care of the animals. When I opened the door a gush of FREEZING wind came in!! I had to go get dressed all over again! That is crazy Texas weather. Oh, and today, Sunday is preety nice weather.LOL. That's all for now. That was long comment.
    Blessings,
    Miss Hannah

  5. Hannah,
It actually isn't a real river, it just comes every spring when it rains, or when the snow melts. Your ravine sounds cool!
