Happy Birthday!  Surprise!

     My Mom's surprise 40th!  Sorry for the lack of pictures, but I was the main organizer and I had a lot to do.  On Friday our best friends came to stay till Sunday, but that surprise was ruined when a 4 year old little mousy, who was privy to all our plans kept asking my mom, "When are the mwells coming?"  "Are the Mowwells go to be here soon?" and so on.  Also, My siblings and I were cleaning like crazy, which, unfort

unately, doesn't happen all the time. :)  However, the big party the next day was a complete surprise.  As soon as Mrs. M took my mom out to lunch, the house was in an organized confusion.  We had to decorate and make the whole

Happy Birthday Than!

Well, Than's birthday went well. Congrats on 11 great years of being my little brother. We made him pasties for dinner, and peanut-butter cheesecake for dessert. It was my first cheesecake! It turned out great, and was SSSOOOOO easy. Since he (and I, we share it) has an iPod Touch, we got him a cable that will transfer video and sound and stuff like that to the TV. He really likes it, and it is something useful.

I also started the family newspaper this week! I think if I can keep it regular it will be really interesting. Of course, the headlines read "Nathanael turns 11!" what a big surprise.

14th Birthday

I'm fourteen!  Yeah! ... Now what?  Well, I don't know.  Here is what has been happening lately.  I went over to a friend house to clean and paint, it is a paying job.  What makes it fun is that my brothers and my friend are there with me.  In the car on the way home we played the three phrases game.  Also with this friend we (my two younger brothers and I) play a game called "password".  We use the cards and card reader that come in the actual game called password, but we have distorted the rules to make it more fun.  It gets very noisy and there is a lot of laughter.  

Vacation 4-Connecticut

Happy 2nd Birthday Wo-Wo!

While we were in Connecticut, we celebrated my cousins 2nd birthday.  He is so cute, and he is just learning to talk.  It was very fun.  We also got to see our grandparents.  <- Here is a picture of him.

We stayed at our grandparents' house when we went to Connecticut.  They live in W. Simsbury, which isn't super industrialized, but still, it didn't prepare me for what we saw.  There was a big black bear in their back yard!  Two days earlier, when my grandma was having breakfast on the porch it walked behind her and brushed the back of her head.  This bear had been seen all over the neighborhood.  When we called the police, they said that they were not going to do anything about it because it hadn't hurt anyone.  Hhmmmmm.......
