Lake Miltona

Lake Miltona... Well, it's rather hard to describe if you haven't been there. Our grandparents have a cottage on it that they inhabit during the summer. It really is an amazing place, and its full of memories for me. One day I'm going to paint it. After I get really good of course.

Anyway, we went up there for a couple days for a little vacation. We did most of the usual things, reading (lots of reading :) ), puzzles(1000 piecer in a day anyone?), swinging in the hammock, and just sitting around. We didn't get much swimming in because it was unusually cold, and quite windy. We didn't do any boating either. Among the books I read were Passion and Purity by Elisabeth Elliot, Lies Young Women Believe by Dannah Gresh, and Nancy Leigh DeMoss, and The Rivals by Richard Brinsley.

Like last year, we went to Alexandria, MN for the "Vikingland Marching Band Contest" It was interesting, but not so much fun because I couldn't recognize any of the songs. Here are some of the many pictures...
