Cookbook continued: Cheesecake

Here is the very simple recipe for cheesecake that I make for my brothers birthday.  The only thing I changed was to add a cup of peanut-butter .
Cheese Cake

1 ½ cups sugar

4 eggs

1 ½ teaspoons vanilla

4 packages of cream cheese

¼ cup butter

1 package graham crackers

1. In a blender mix the butter and graham crackers, then press into the bottom of a spring-form pan.  Put in the oven for 12 minutes at 325˚

2. Beat all the other ingredients together till fluffy.

3. Spread over the crust and put into the oven for an hour at 325°

4.     Chill till cool.

Just after it came out of the oven...
close up...
Mmmmmm, top with chocolate and strawberries.

  1. Well, well, well. I guess that you are blogging right now, too. I was surfing around and saw that all of a sudden, your profile picture changed and there was a new post up.

My little sister was looking over my shoulder and saw the cheesecake. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. You make me hungry.

Anyway, thanks for you comment on my blog--how did you find it?

  2. Hi Lucie!
Actually, I found your blog because I was on someone's blog that you were following, or they were following you, or something like that, it was a link. Do you know Jessica Mcdonald? It might have been her.
