Reformation Day Faire

I have bought the pattern for the costume I am going to wear to the Reformation Day Fair!  I am so excited!  I can't wait to get started!  But of course, we have to wait till after school and chores are done.  It is more medieval the Renaissance, but I really like it.  Today we bought crushed red velvet for the dress, and some gold satin for the contrast.  I was going to do it in green or purple, and make it look like a LOTR dress, but after seeing their combination, I don't think I would have been satisfied with anything else!  I can't wait to get started, and will keep you posted.

  1. I had that exact same idea, Joanna!! But then I decided to go with the outfit that my Mom and sister were doing, just to make it easier on us. I can't wait to see it on you and you will have to tell me how easy it was to make!!

Can't wait to see you there!!!

    Love ~Jesi

  2. That's great!!! Be sure to post some pictures when it's done, I can't wait to see it. I have always thought that that pattern was especially pretty.

  4. Oh, I'm so jealous that you get to go to the Reformation Day Faire. It looked like such fun on Your Sacred Calling.
